Next Beta build available for download

Today we have released the next beta build 3.0.6-116. Compared to the previous 3.0.6-103 the following changes were made:

• parameter optimization for the .mp3 export. Our plans are to use the best possible quality for mp3 files even they will be a little larger. Important in this context: if you hear any crackings in an exported audio file please let us know
• the Microsoft GS Wavetable can be activated again as requested by some customers. Please see Device Configuration Manager / device menu
• more MusicXML import capabilities, bugs fixed in MusicXML import and export
• other bug fixes

Ony Nov. 2nd, 2017 we released the next beta build 3.0.6-130. Since the last 3.0.6-116 the following changes have been done:

• MusicXML import of accents, accidentals, articulations, beams, dynamic marks, slurs (enhancements compared to previous version)
• Dynamic mark handling - support of automatic differentiation of marks for staves vs. marks for notes
• Audio export - parameter adjustments to provide the best possible sound in the audio export files vs. minimal file size. It is possible now to adjust the gain in case the soundfont comes with different gains. Please see MIDI Device Configuration / Notation Software Synth / Device / Properties / Soundfont
• Audio export in stereo mode
• Further MIDI export optimizations
• Band-in-the Box automatic ending generation
• Classical Band-in-a-Box styles
• Bug fixes

On Nov. 10nd, 2017 we released the next beta build 3.0.6-136. Since the last 3.0.6-130 the following changes were made:

• Tempo changes exported in audio files. This was a bug which came in with a change in 3.0.6-130 (see here)
• Chord import in MusicXML may change from a sharp chord to a flat chord (see here).
• A long time open bug was fixed when copying/pasting measures with notes that include beams. A change deep in the engraving engine was required.
• Remember previous saved audio export format for the next use (see here)
• A few minor bugs

On Dec. 15th, 2017 we released the next beta build 3.0.6-151. Since the last 3.0.6-136 the following changes were made:

• Minor 6 chord added to Chord Builder
• All chords have been validated for proper name, sound, format, export formats, working with the Band-in-a-Box plugin
• Open multiple files through the File Explorer "Send To" command
• Bug fixes

This build is a major build towards the end of the beta phase of 3.0.7. It is the last beta build in 2017. The focus was on bug fixing.

On Jan. 4th, 2018 we released the beta build 3.0.6-164. Compared to the previous build 3.0.6-151, the new build contains bug fixes. We get closer to the final release which is planned to be in this month. Therefore please send us any issue asap. Thanks.

And here comes the next beta 3.0.6-176 to be release today on Jan. 19th, 2018. Compared to the last version 3.0.6-169 the following was addressed:

• chord C2
• MusicXML import enhancements
• MusicXML import instrument mapping from MusicXML instruments to internal instruments
• Bug fixes

The issue about "persistant lyrics" (Task 3000) reported today is not included.

All in all we are getting very close to the final release. Please send us any issue asap.
