Hi, Ralph:

As I understand it, you want a flam on each note shown in bar 1.

Like you, I couldn't do it on one hidden track. I think it has to do with the midi timing resolution of Composer (480 ppq?). By the time you get down to a triplet 64th note, there's not a lot of wiggle room left, only about 5.5 ppq per triplet 64th.

So, I added a second hidden track and put the second and fifth triplet quarter notes on bar 2 onto the 2nd hidden track, adding a NON-grace flam note to them (removing the original notes from the first hidden track).

It's not quite the same timing as your bar 2 example, but if your ears can tell the difference, you're a better man than I am.

Maybe that will work for you.
