Hi Tim,
You're not missing anything - the behavior is as you describe. It is on the "wish list" to have the time show for wherever the playback cursor is "resting", but that enhancement has not been implemented at this time. Sorry for the inconvenience. ttfn, Sherry

Tim,
If you export your songs to midi files and load them into the free VanBasco karaoke player, it will give the total playing duration of a midi file.

p.s. Tim, you can go all the way to the end page and hit "Play", then click in the last measure to get a quick view.
