Hi,

You have to have some sort of midi connection between your keyboard and your computer -- many newer Yamaha keyboards have a direct USB connector, older ones have a midi output (sort of circular with five holes).

Connected to your computer, you can simply set Notation Composer (or other non-Notation Software recorder) to Record and play your music.

Midi connectors range from $15 to a few hundred.
