Simple Step by Step to use VST in NC Version 4
After searching through all of the forum I have decided to post this question on behalf of everyone.
Instead of using the default soundfont, is there a simple step by step guide to set up a VST in Notation Composer V4? for example pianoteq or the Garritan Yamaha virtual instruments... Not being able to do this means I usually use my other DAWs like Reaper etc If I could set this up I would 100% happy with Notation Composer.. Thanks! |

Re: Simple Step by Step to use VST in NC Version 4
Hi Kevin,
Notation Composer 4 does not directly support VST instruments, but if you have a host for your instruments/library (eg. Garritan's Aria player) and a virtual MIDI cable(s) (eg. LoopBe) then you're set. The player acts as the MIDI Playback Device - please see this thread in this forum for details. There are also some good tips in this thread too regarding other VST hosts. Hope this helps! Sherry
