Hi,
This may mean one of a couple of things. The installation file may have been corrupted during the download, in which case you can re-download it and try again. The other more likely problem is that the Windows component needed for opening the package is missing on your system (this occasionally happens). If you visit the Microsoft website at http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...s.aspx?id=8328 and download and install that package, you should then be able to successfully install the trial version of Notation Musician (and Notation Composer).
