Hello, Gaby:
To split a staff, select it using the blue arrow at the left (in Window View), then go to Staff/Split Hands (or just select from the pop up list when you go to Staff/Split Hands). To record separated hands, select 2 staves before starting to record, or areas in 2 staves for punch-in recording. Good luck. David
