Default Re: Changing tempo for whole song

Hi Tim,

I'll start off by asking what steps you were using to try to change the tempo for the whole song. We use answers to questions like these to see how folks think the software should work, so we can make changes so it will work more like folks expect it to So it's not a test, it's a query.

To change the tempo of a song just while you're listening to it (but not save it), you can use the Tempo adjustment up/down buttons on the tool bar to change the percentage of the file's tempo.

To change the tempo of a song and save it, you can click on the Tempo indicator/button ("note" = XX) in the tool bar. That will bring up a dialog box. If you haven't selected any region, the default region will be the entire song. You can then enter a value in the Constant Tempo box and click "Ok" to save it. That tempo change will also be saved with the file.

ttfn,
Sherry
