Howdy folks,
Just a general tip: if you want to add some sort of text to the score such as "andante" and you only want it to appear on the Conductor's score once, you can use a Page Text item to accomplish this. The steps: 1. In the conductor's score, click the Text tab.Enjoy! Sherry

Is it possible to add free text to the top part in a score and then have it appear in each part (when printed separately)? For instance, a tempo mark on the flute part of an orchestra would then also appear on every part.

Hi,
Quote:
This type of text is Page Text, and yes you can add that to the score. Briefly: Free text gets added just to the spot where you put it in the score. Page Text appears at the same location on the pages that you designate for it. For details about types of text and formatting, please see our Tutorial Video on Text and Symbols in the Score, or use Help/User Guide and then the Index to look up "page text". Enjoy! Sherry
