You may have caught things in a transition time as we have been working on the downloads area of the website (please
see our just posted announcement).
With that in mind, please try the following:
- Uninstall any of the trial versions that you have installed previously.
- Delete the installation files that you downloaded (to avoid confusing the browser's download manager).
- Make sure that the Visual C++ package from Microsoft is installed.
- Restart your machine (to make sure the package is "sorted" properly by the operating system.)
- Re-visit our download page at www.notation.com/Download.php and download the trial version(s) you want to test.
- After the download is complete, double-click the installation file to start the installation.
