Default Re: Poor Butterfly

I love these arrangements and they serve as a model for a particular style of arranging. I have some Henry Mancini scores which feature close harmonies and full chords by groups of instruments like trumpets and trombones, and this reminds me of what I see here....Something you rarely see in classical music, where the harmonies nealy always have their basis in the strings with occasional "filling out" by other groups. So thanks again.

I am starting a thread today called "Romance for Viola and Piano" where I will be recommeding an excellent site for sharing MP3s and PDFs, etc. Soundclick is ok, but I do find there are limits on file size and I find page navigation confusing; but I do sometimes use it.
