It Might Be You Duet (Bishop)
1 Attachment(s)
"It Might Be You" was written in 1982 by Dave Grusin, Alan & Marilyn Bergman and was featured in the movie "Tootsie".
Hoping to not get "too much in the weeds", I'd like to note the composer's ascending bass line from measure 44 through 49 (A --> D) in half steps. Yummy! Ralph Rayner |
Re: It Might Be You Duet (Bishop)
Hi, Ralph:
The wife and I just watched the movie Mulholland Falls, a 1990s film noir in the Chinatown style. It, too, has a score by Dave Grusin. Two mentions of Grusin's work in two days! Always fun to hear your recorder duets. The only duet Janice and I are doing right now is staining the house -- if the rain would stop! Cheers, David |
