Hi, Firstly, I am a starter really when it comes to getting around a computer.
I have spent many hours reading and trying to achieve my goal, but am now starting to become a little frustrated. I have a Roland KR115 PME. I am organ trained and therefore need to left hand chords. I am trying to carry out a number of tasks. 1) Show Chords - Managed to do this although I sometimes lose the changes. 2) Remove music relating to other instruments. Any help for a struggling "hobby" musician would be very much appreciated. Thank You |

Howdy Jeff,
Quote: ------------------------------------------ I am trying to carry out a number of tasks. 1) Show Chords - Managed to do this although I sometimes lose the changes. 2) Remove music relating to other instruments. ------------------------------------------ For showing chords and "losing the changes", do you mean that the chord names disappear entirely, or that your changes don't "take"? If it's the former, please be sure that the little eyeglass icon in the palette box is "on". If it's the latter, please let us know the steps that you do just prior to the problem. For removing other instruments, you can either hide them, mute them, or totally remove the staves that you desire. The commands for doing any of these actions is under the top menu listing "Staff". For hiding and/or muting, you can use the "Staff Setup" dialog, and for deleting a staff, you can use "Delete Staff." ttfn, Sherry |

Hi Sherry,
I have a 115mpe Roland. I have existing midifiles which I am perfectly happy with the format at this time except they do not show chord symbols. I am unable to read left hand music therefore I need the chord symbols showing. I am now able to remove instruments I do not require. Do you think that this program is too complicated for what I am trying to achieve with such basic computer knowledge. Thank You. Jeff |
Howdy Jeff,
