My virus scanner detects libNotationComposer.dll or libNotationMusician.dll and says they are infected. What to do?


We are more frequently seeing virus scanners detect the files "libNotationComposer.dll" or "libNotationMusician.dll" and say they are infected or are junkware.

This is not the case. It is a faulty detection.

The files "libNotationComposer.dll" and "libNotationMusician.dll" are essential dll libraries for Notation Software to run. If they are deleted or moved into quarantine folders then our software will not run.

The only solution is to exclude these files from being scanned by a virus scanner.

We found that typical virus scanners which give faulty results are
